We only collect what we need to sell you fabric and look after your orders. We never sell your information.

Who we are

BeauveeFabrics is a fabric business in Abuja, Nigeria, and is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Questions about your information? Email hello@beauveefabrics.com.

What we collect

  • Your details: name, email address, phone number and, if you create an account, a username and password (stored securely; we can't see your password). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
  • Orders: what you buy, delivery address or pickup time, any note you add at checkout, and the history of each order.
  • Payments: Paystack handles your card, bank transfer or USSD payment. We receive the payment reference, amount and method, never your full card details.
  • How you use the shop: simple counts of which fabrics are viewed, added to bags and bought, used to improve the shop. If you're signed in, these are linked to your account.
  • Messages: what you send us, and short notes our team keeps to serve you better (for example a preferred pickup day).

Why we use it

  • To take payment, prepare, deliver or hand over your order, and to keep you updated about it.
  • To answer your questions and sort out any problems, returns or refunds.
  • To keep the shop and your account secure and prevent fraud.
  • To keep the business records the law requires.
  • To send you news and offers, only if you've agreed. You can say no at any time.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share only what's needed with the companies that help us run the shop:

  • Paystack, to take payments and send refunds;
  • our delivery partners: your name, phone number and address, to deliver your order;
  • Supabase, which stores our database and runs sign-in, and Vercel, which runs our website;
  • our email service, to send receipts and order updates;
  • Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.

Some of these companies store information outside Nigeria. We use providers with strong security and data protection commitments. We may also share information when the law requires it.

Cookies

We use a few small cookies that the shop needs to work: to keep you signed in, to remember your bag, and to show you the orders you placed in this browser. We don't use advertising cookies. Paystack may use its own cookies when you pay.

How long we keep it

We keep your account until you ask us to delete it. We keep order and payment records for as long as the law requires for business and tax records (usually six years), then delete them.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act, you can ask us to:

  • show you the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct it if it's wrong (you can also update your details in your account);
  • delete it, unless we must keep it by law;
  • stop using it for news and offers, or for any purpose you object to.

Email hello@beauveefabrics.com and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Our shop is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. See also our terms and returns and refunds policy.
